The Decathlon was won by Jiri Ryba (CZE) with a new PR and Meeting Record of 8339p. Second became Dan Steele (USA) with 7835 and third Peter Soldos (SVK) with a new national Record of 7793 points.
The Austrians Gerhard Zillner and Markus Walser started both, but didnīt finish the first day. Walser equaled his 100 meter PR.
