Otto Petrovic in 1984

Otto Petrovic started with the Decathlon early. In 1982 he won his first national Title in the Youth Decathlon. His biggest success he had as a Junior in 1983. He won the national Junior Championships and placed 4th in the European Junior Championships. He had a very good High Jump and Javelin Throw. After 1984 he quit the Decathlon. Beside his Studies at the University he concentrated on the Javelin and became the national record holder and won four national titles with the new Javelin. He came very close to the 80 Meters with the Nemeth-Model.
