Roland Schwarzl and Klaus Ambrosch will do the full indoorseason. Two Trainingscamps at Lanzarote (Spain) in December and January should help them to get in shape. The first heptathlon is planned for the 29./30. of January - the Erki Nool Reval Cup. One week later are the Austrian Championships in Heptathlon. The goal for them is to break the Austrain record of Thomas Tebbich, who scored 5817 points in Frankfurt 1999. With a good score one of them perhaps qualifies for the European Championships.

Thomas Tebbich won´t do an indoor-season to recover from his knee problems, which caused him to give up at the World Championships.

The first outdoor Decathlon might be Alhama, followed by Götzis. We will see, how many Austrian Decathles will go to Sydney.
