JON ARNAR MAGNUSSON TO START AT AUSTRIAN INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS
The worldclass Decathlete from Iceland, Jon Arnar Magnusson
will try to score higher than 6068p this weekend in Vienna. This is the score of Volodimir Mikhailenko from the Erki Nool Cup, where Magnusson scored 6056p.
If Magnusson scores higher than Mikhailenko, he would be qualified for the World Indoor Championships instead of him.
His start is a good challenge for the Klaus Ambrosch and Thomas Tebbich. Both showed good results last weekend at open championships. Ambrosch cleard 4,70m in PV in Salzburg, and had two close attempts at 4,91m.
Tebbich sprinted in Schielleiten the 50 meters flat in 6,15s and with hurdles in 7,07s.
