At the regional Championships for Oberösterreich in Traun 25./26. September he placed second and scored 6034 points.
To train for it, he did the Favoritner Jedermann two weeks before, where he won with 5577 points, and also coached a group of hobby-athletes during the decathlon.

By the way, the Austrain veteran record for M40 is 6406 points held by Horst Mandl.
But I think Georg will be to buisy organizing the Milleniums Jedermann Decathlon in Vienna for next year to pick up serious training for a big score.
