Forecast Olympic Games Decathlon

National Coach Sepp Schmidl says, that Klaus Ambrosch is in very good shape, and he expects between 8200 and 8300 points for him. This would be a great result for him. In 1998 Klaus was in Arizona and had a SB of 7413p before the NCAA championships. There he set a PR with 7825p to win the title. He showed, that he can bring his best results, when it is important – letīs hope he can do it this time also.

His preperation for the last days before the Decathlon looks like this:

Thu: weights / Javelin

Fr: flight to Sydney

Sa: rest

So: sprint + throwing event

Mo: Plyos

Tue: warm up

Wed/Thu: olympic Decathlon

If Klaus scores good, I will try to publish details from his preperation.
