Forecast Indoor Season

Thomas Tebbich just came back from a trainings camp in Lanzarote together with Erki Nool and Sepp Schmidl.
Without special preperation he will compete at the national Heptathlon Championships (14/15th Feb. in Linz).
His main goal for this season is the qualification for the Olympic Games.

The second +8000p Decathlete from Austria Klaus Ambrosch had a surgery on his knee at the end of 2003. He just recovered from it and picked up training again, so he will skipp the indoor season.

Markus Walser allready had a good start int the indoor season in Dornbirn (PV 4,60 SP 14,04). He will start again in Dornbirn at a multievent, and one week later in Linz.
His brother Thomas Walser picked up training again also after a surgery on his knee - but he will skipp the indoor season.

Roland Schwarzl came back from a trainings camp, and will compete in the indoor season also without special preperation. Next weekend he will start in Salzburg, and then in Linz.

So the National championships in Linz will get a good competition, also some guests from Slovenia and Croatia will compete - headed by last years winner Ranko Leskovar (5873p), who had good results yesterday in Vienna.

The national Heptathlon Champion Elisabeth Plazotta allready had a good start into the indoor season in Schielleiten (LJ 6,10m) - she might be able to score a new national Pentathlon record in Linz. Her next competition will be in Salzburg next weekend.
