Götzis podium is meeting in Wolfsberg again

The third edition of the 100 minutes decathlon will be held on Friday, August 26, 6:15 p.m. in Wolfsberg (Austria). With Roman Sebrle, Attila Zsivoczky and Aleksandr Pogorelov competing, this year's Götzis podium (1-3) is meeting again. With three of the top five world championships finishers on the start and excellent weather conditions presumed, there is a good chance the Carinthian city will see the first score over 8.000 points in a short time decathlon. Organizer Georg Werthner: "The spectators are watching from a close distance and are allowed to the infield wherever possible without danger. The meeting always develops a very special spirit, the athmosphere pushes the athletes to good results.

Roman Sebrle won both of the 100 minutes decathlons held so far, 2003 in Schwechat with 7.989 points and last year in Villach with 7.842 points.
