Regional Championships - 16./17.6.01

The Austrian Decathletes competed last weekend at several regional Championships. Though the weather was not too good, they had some good results.
Here are the details:

Salzburg:
Klaus Ambrosch: 110mH 15,34 (1), HJ 1,85 (3), PV 4,50 (1), LJ 6,79 (1), SP 14,06 (1), DT 40,47 (2), JT 61,16 (1)
Klaus was tired from a hard training week, but won 5 titles. In the Shot former +7000p Decathlete Harald Eder placed second with 12,93m. In the Discus Klaus lost against his coach Ernst Grössinger (41,06m).

Vorarlberg:
Thomas Walser: HJ 1,80 (1), SP 14,86 (1), DT 39,64 (3)
Markus Walser: DT 38,53 (4)
Former Austrian Decathlonchampion Gerhard Röser competed also and won the Long Jump (7,04) and placed second in the Discus (41,27).

Steiermark:
Thomas Tebbich: 100m 10,94 (1), 400m 49,49 (1), 110mH 14,94 (1), HJ 1,90 (1), PV 4,40 (1), LJ 6,66 (2), DT 42,17 (1)
Heiko Mandl won the Shot Put (13,52) and the Javelin (54,71)

Oberösterreich:
Michael Schnallinger: 100m 11,42, 110mH 14,88 (1), HJ 1,90 (1), PV 4,30, DT 39,15, SP 12,41, JT 60,15 (1)
Former national Record holder in Decathlon Georg Werthner prepears for the World Veteran Decathlon Championships and placed third in the Javelin with 56,28m.
