Season start for Austrian Decathletes

Last weekend most of teh Austrian Decathletes started into the outdoor season 2004.

After the first results it looks like Roland Schwarzl has the biggest chances for the olympic limit (7950p) in Götzis.
In April he already PR´d in the Discus with 46,97m and in Feldkirch-Gisingen he sprinted the hurldes in a new PR of 14,54s/+2.4 and cleared 4,70 in the pole vault.

Thomas Tebbich started in Leibnitz with 35,49s in the 300m, 15,28s in the hurdles and 40,17m in the Discus.
He will compete already at 8/9 May in Deszensano and 3 weeks later in Götzis.

Markus and Thomas Walser started also in Felkirch-Gisingen. Thomas made his comeback after a long periode of injuries.

The other Austrians to compete in Götzis (29/30 May) will be Klaus Ambrosch who didn´t compete until now after his knee surgery and the new Austrian Indoor Record-Holder in Pentathlon Elisabeth Plazotta. It will be her first start in Götzis.
