Jedermann Decathlon - 2./3.6.01 Vienna

The Athletes had bad luck with the weather on day two. It was cold and raining.
Martin Plews had problems with his Pole Vault approach and no highted. But he didnīt quit and finished the Decathlon.
The winner at the end was the youth athlete (under 18) Johannes Kuenz. The talented Decathlete coached by Sepp Schmidl ran impressive 4:29,66min in his last event.
His score of 6715p was the second best ever of an Austrian under 18 Decathlete with senior implements. Only Franz Sterrer scored with 6851p higher in 1979.
