DONYETSK: Yelena Isinbayeva achieved her 20th world record tonight in Donyetsk at the traditional Sergey Bubka meet „Pole Vault Stars“ in Ukraine. She jumped over 493 and her agent Daniel Wessfeldt reports that the record jump was great and it looked like way over 5 metres. „She can make some great things this year,“ he says. She jumped her record in third attempt. Her outdoor best is 501 cm. Her next competition is on Feb 14 in Bydgoszcz, Poland and then continues to Birmingham on Feb 17 and Paris Feb 23. She has no plans to compete at European Indoor Championships in Birmingham. Her previous indoor record 491 was at the same meet last year on Feb 12 and she bettered the mark by 2 cm.
