EAA News - Record TV coverage for SPAR European Cross Country Championships

There will be record television coverage of this weekends SPAR European Cross Country Championships when it was confirmed that broadcasters from 15 different areas will show coverage from the event.

National broadcasters from 12 European countries will show the event in addition to Pan-European channel Eurosport. It has also been confirmed that DD Sports in India and The Dubai Sports Channel will also show highlights of the championships.

The SPAR European Cross Country Championships takes place annually and a record 509 athletes from 30 countries are entered for this year's event in San Giorgio su Lugnano.

The event is supported by SPAR, the long-standing International Partner of European Athletics along with SEIKO, EPSON and EUROVISION. SPAR International has been the Principal Partner of European Athletics since 1996; SEIKO is the Official Timing and Measurement Company for European Athletics Events since 1991; EPSON is European Athletics Technical Partner since 2001; and this year European Athletics has celebrated 25 years of partnership with EBU/EUROVISION.

In addition, European Athletics has once again teamed up with Swiss dairy manufacturer LE GRUYERE as an International Partner for this event.
