Meeting scoring:

According to my calculations is Athletissima of Lausanne the best meeting of the season. The special evening in Switzerland scored 86 619 points and that is the best score ever for the event. For example last year only Golden Gala of Rome scored more. It will be interesting to see what score will be achieved by Rome this year.

Stats

Athletissima has two firsts – first 200 m race ever with four runners sub 20 seconds, first 110mH race ever with four runners sub 13.05

Formanova is back

1999 World indoor and outdoor champion Ludmila Formanova is back. She had since 2002 different health problems and last year gave birth to a son. Now she is back and raced already internationally. At Tofalia meet of Patras in Greece she was fifth in 2:04.22. Her first race since 2002 (she had one inbetween in 2004 but that was only short episode). „After such a long time I really do not feel bad. Maybe it will not be enough for Goteborg, but I think I will continue and maybe in 2007 I could be again running with the best,“ she explained. Her next race is scheduled in Liege, Belgium on July 19.
