Powell´s Gateshead is better one

Which one of the three 9.77 sprints is the best one? Maybe the last of Asafa Powell in Gateshead. Here some reasons:
  • in thousands 9.7629
  • smallest wind support
  • the best start reaction
Interesting is also that at all three 9.77 times the athletes had before heats. And in no one of this times the altitude played a role. One could dream of a Mexico city clash between Powell and Gatlin which could bring the record to 9.60 levels.

Is Powell now the better one? On times yes – his ten best legal times average is 9.874, Gatlin has 9.882. Powell has 17 legal sub 10 times, Powell 16. But the American is clearly better on medals – he is olympic and world champion.
